Hmm... it might be a false positive. I'd say your best bet is to wait and see what the blood test comes back as! Good luck!
Okay, i am so confused. I took a pregnancy test yesterday because of very very very lite bleeding between periods, just to rule pregnancy out, but it came back positive right away. I took another one and it came back neg. Then went to Dr. this morning and they also did urine test which came back neg. They wanted to do a blood test because they said urine test showed, blood in my urine, protein in my urine and i was dehydrated. She tested me for bladder infection and also uti and all came back neg. The only symtoms i have is fatigue and having to urinate frequently. Any suggestions of what might be wrong with me?
BYW, i am supposed to get test results back later this afternoon. Any help would be great!!!

~Today, any person can fight the battles of one day It is only when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternity's- yesterday and tomorrow, that we break down. It is not the experience of today that drives people mad. It is the remorse of bitterness for something which happened yesterday and the dread of what tomorrow may bring.
Let us therefore, live but one day at a time.~
Do you know by any chance of why i would have blood and protein in my urine with no infection? Thanks
Can be caused by an early stage infection, one that does not have enough of an infection to show up as a full positive test but is starting to show symptoms. Other than that it would be up to your doctor to tell you because the internet is a horrible source of information because people jump to extreme conclusions based on so little. Just listen to your doctor, if they say nothing to worry about then believe them. Microscopic blood in urine really is not that uncommon.Do you know by any chance of why i would have blood and protein in my urine with no infection? Thanks
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
If they are sure you have no infections, I don't know why their would be blood in your urine.Sorry. Keep us updated though with what the doc says.

Well pregnancy test came back negative, which i thought that it would. All blood test came back okay too but they have no reason as to why i am dehydrated, and have blood and protein in urine. Who knows!!!
Definitely could be early stages of infection. Protein in the urine in low levels is often considered normal. Slightly higher levels could be sign of infection. Wait to hear from your doc, and then determine your next steps.
What is your health like otherwise? Is there a history of diabetes in your family? Have you had any noticeable weight changes (loss or gain)?? Are you having excessive thirst?

I spoke with my Dr. yesterday afternoon and after they said all my test came back normal. They didnt act like they wanted to see me again. Overall i believe i am pretty healthy. I have been extremely thirsty lately and diabeties do run really strong on my dads side of the family. My dad, his brother, and my grandfather all have diabeties. When i wipe i am still getting a little blood a couple of times a day. I dont want to over react and go to a specialist if i dont need one but then again i dont want it to be something major and not get it taken care of. My cousing manages a kidney dialisis office and she said that she thinks i should go back and ask to have more test run because it is abnormal. Im so confused
At this point I would go to a different doctor. Maybe your family doctor instead of OBGYN. Take a copy of your records from your OB so your doctor can see what tests were run and what the findings were. It's also important you discuss your excessive thirst and diabetes running in your family.
Or...tell your OB you want your sugar tested and that you're worried about diabetes.

Do you maybe occassionally feel pressure in your sides, right under your ribs that reflects to your back?Do you have normal blood pressure?I would suggest getting your kidneys checked(ultrasound, urea, creatinine).
