I really have no other thoughts but try a second to third opinion.
Hey ladies, I just wanted to get a few opinions and see if anyone else has had the same problem. Last year I went into the ER for severe menstrual bleeding and abdominal pain. I got an ultrasound done and they found a cyst on my left ovary. They watched it for a few months and it grew bigger, so they decided to take it out with a laprascopic surgery. It was part "tumor" and part fluid. Now over a year later, I am having abdominal pain, and I went in to get another ultrasound, which they found no cyst, but one of the doctor's suggested it was scar tissue. I am not ALWAYS in pain and I think I could handle it for the most part, but they want to go in and diagnose what is really wrong and take care of it. I'm scheduled for surgery the 20th of this month. I am nervous and I'm only 21 years old and going on my second surgery in a little over a year. I feel like I'd rather find other ways to take care of it but I'm afraid I may just be prolonging the inevitable. Anyone else had this problem before? What would you do? Thanks in advance!

What counts in making a happy marriage is not so much how compatible you are but how you deal with incompatibility. - Leo Tolstoy
The clearest explanation for failure of any marriage is that two people are incompatible; that is, one is male and the other female. - Anna Quindlen

Definitely get a second opinion. What can it hurt? But will provide you some assurance that you are (or are not) doing the right thing.

"The next time you're thinking of kicking someone when they're down, offer them your hand and help them back up instead."
