Hello,
I am 19 years old and I have been having pelvic pain on my right side on and off for over 2 years now. It started with bloating and sharp pains alternating with dull pains for about a month. I went to the hospital, thinking it might be appendicitis, and they said there was nothing wrong after doing an ultrasound, When that went away for a few months, it came back but was more dull pain for a month or two at a time, without the severe bloating. Anyway, I've had 3 ultrasounds and the doctors have all said there is nothing wrong. But I can't help but think that if I've had this same pain for this long, there might be something wrong. Has anyone had a similar experience?
Thanks
Have they ever tested you for a bladder infection or a Urinary Tract Infection? Sometimes that can give you a dull backache or on the sides. If they did an ultra sound, I would assume that would rule out kidney stones. If they haven't tested you for this, I would ask them to, just to make sure, because if it goes untreated for a long time it could develop into a kidney infection, which is very dangerous.
~Today, any person can fight the battles of one day It is only when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternity's- yesterday and tomorrow, that we break down. It is not the experience of today that drives people mad. It is the remorse of bitterness for something which happened yesterday and the dread of what tomorrow may bring.
Let us therefore, live but one day at a time.~
