    Unhappy Brown & Red Discharge/Painful Sex/Back Ache & Depression

I don't even know where to start, but I will try and be brief.

I have had vaginal discharge since July 2011. I went to the gyno in October (it took that long to get an appointment), he decided to do a LEEP? to remove HPV and a spot on my cervix that was red raw, I do not recall the medical name for this. Initially my pap smear came back with CIN 1, but was 'downgraded' to HPV by the gyno taking another swab. I have 2 year old twins and have had cervical changes since the age of 18 so he decided this procedure was the best option for me and believed this would stop the discharge.
It did not!! The discharge ranges from brown to a pink and is every day. I went back to the gyno twice. He took 2 more swabs, no infection. I went to my female GP who also took a swab, no infection.

In addition to this symptom, it is extremely painful to have sex in just about every position. It does not hurt afterwards. I have had endometriosis surgically removed in the past???
It also hurts down my right leg to pee, not every time. It is not a urinary tract infection pain, I have never experienced this pain before.
    My lower back hurts too.

I have an Aunt who had Ovarian cancer which was treated. I had an ultrasound back in July and my ovaries appeared normal, just some follicular cysts.

I have just been to a new Gyno as we have moved interstate, in summary he made me cry. He told me I have a "beautiful cervix" and there was no signs of discharge and there was "NOTHING he could do for me" and he has no idea what can be causing it!!!
My mum is concerned due to my Aunty's history and that she was given Depro Provera back in the 70's when she was pregnant with me.

To top it all off, I have a depression/anxiety disorder which has flared up due to all of this.
Does anyone have any suggestions? What are you supposed to do when you do the right thing and attend a Doctor/Specialist appointment but they have no idea? I understand they are only human like you and me.

    Additional Details

I am 40 in April and gave birth to twins 2 years ago, naturally...go me!!
I had endo removed about 15 years ago.
It is hard to tell if I am bloated as I am a little bit porky. My periods have been like clock work until the last 3 cycles. They used to be around for up to 8 days but lately they have lasted for 3 days, stopped for a day, then come back for another day and so on.

To quote the gyno I saw last week "you have had endometriosis before so you should be well aware that this does not cause discharge. It would be a waste of hospital time to do a laproscopy if that is not the problem". Hence why he made me cry.
The painful sex is one thing, but this discharge is drving me mad.
    Jo.

UGH! That all just sounds horrible.

Can you go to another gyno? I don't know what else to suggest... It is hard when you know what you are experiencing, yet, nothing can be diagnosed.

    Thank you LanaBear for replying.

I go back to the GP on Tuesday to try and get a new referral to my 3rd gyno.
It's all too much today, the discharge is just crazy. I now have 'stuff' when I wipe.

I think you should consult another gyno for further knowledge about what you are feeling. It is better to consult than self medicate.
