Thread: brown and smelly?

i was treated for bv about a month ago with flagly seven day treatment. It took about the full seven days for it to go away but it did. Then...i started taking birth control for thefirst time sunday the 12th cuz it started that day so i started yasmin. Instead of my period lasting four days it lasteed like two weeks with blood spotting the last week. The blood has basically stopped except now i have a brownsticky discharge that smells kinda fishy?! whats going on?! is it bv bback or gross blood? i thought that at first but blood isnt this consistency or this smell!? HELLLp?

hi there, i have had the same sort of problem. i was on the injection at the start of this year. i didn't have a normal period while on the injection which i thought was normal. I went off the injection however because it made me so emotional. anyway, once off it the doctor told me it'd be a few months before my periods came back. 6 months later and i still haven't had a single period. i'm not pregnant but i do get that brown spotting. i haven't really noticed a smell as such, but i can feel it come out of me throughout the day and it is rather annoying as it ruins my nice knickers when i least expect it. id love to know why its doing this as im sure you do too. i hope you're a little reassured now that your not the only one
