In 1999 I had a hysterectomy, but I still have my ovaries. Before my op I suffered from thrush, not very often but enough to be a pain, and have had no symptoms since. Over the last 3-4 months I have begun to notice a slight discharge and an itch in and around the vagina. Since I am not on any medication and obviously not on the pill, I would appreciate anyones help or advice as to what could be causing the problem. I am married and my husband works away on a ship with female and male crew members, I have noticed that my hubbie has been scratching his penis more often as well, as you can imagine my suspicions are growing, and not doing my mental health any good by not knowing.
