I have a appointment with my gyn on thursday, but I am starting to get cramps. I usally do not start my period without a few days of cramping. I am so irregular that I did not think of the date. I am going in for my anual and to talk about why I bleed after sex and some more on going stuff that can not wait. It takes two or three months to get into my doctor but when I explained to the nurse what was going on she said she can get in in within two weeks. Can he do my anual if I am about to start?Or Should I go if I start? This a very important appointment.

You can still get your pap if you are on your period. However, if you are bleeding heavilly, the doc may decide to reschedule. There are a lot of things that can be done regardless. You may have a hormone imbalance which would cause problems with cycles. You can get checked for this by getting blood samples taken for a hormone panel. I would definately recommend going in no matter what.
