Thread: im getting really depressed!

have been bleeding for 6 weeks and this is getting really old! very bright red, HUGE clots, im talking dollar size, dollar bill size clots! every now and then it slows down a little but then another big clot and here we go again. I am 42, got my tubes tied 20 years ago so im not on birth control. I have been on plavix and asprin for over a year but it has never caused problems before. a week ago i stopped taking both pills thinking it might help but it hasnt. I dont have any new stress or anything like that. I would love to go to the doctor but i dont have insurance so no one will see me. What is wrong with me?????

I agree. This sounds serious enough to get help immediately. The asprin could be the wrong thing with a condition such as this. It could be fibroids and you could be becoming anemic.....I had a condition similar to this before I had my uterus and ovaries out at 47. The clots were terrible and I bled until they had to put me on iron pills for 6 weeks before they could build my blood up and operate. As the above poster said, get help on this.
