Ok I'm not sure if my facts are right or not...so I could use some help here.

From what I know its not unusual for a woman to have discharge from their vagina on occasion.

Well this morning...I noticed that I had a very large amount of very sticky very white discharge...and im not sure what is causing it. I havent had sex within the last 4 days and Im not having any unusual itching or redness.

So i really have no idea whats going on.

and then i know this sounds gross...but im not sure how a vagina is supposed to look. i feel like mine looks wrong... or gross.

i am so confused please any advice will help.

    hey dgirl,
well you don't necessarily have to have itching or redness all the time with a yeast infection. you can always get a yeast detection kit to see if that is the case. vagisil makes one. you might have another type of vaginal infection going on. maybe you should see your gyno.

    Thanks metalbudderfly.

i had no clue about the yeast infection kits. and as for the gyno. i dont have one. i live in a dinky *** town....and there are no gynos here. and i have no insurance at the moment to cover it.

but i appreciate it. i will def. try out one of those tests if things dont clear up.

Planned parenthood is a good option if there is one in your area. If not, try loading up on acidopholis (in yogurt, or you can get it in pill form) it will help keep those infections at bay.
