    Does anyone know how big a 3.9 cyst is? Is it a size of a grapefruit? Plum? Orange? Grape? I can't find anything on the internet about it.

    I believe that they are measured in millimeters.

    I have a 3.9 cm cyst but I don't know how big that is. Do you know?

    About a small grape. But then, I am not positive that they ARE measured in millimeters.

    well bernice if it was measured in cm. then you can estimate it this way. it takes about 3 cm. to make up one inch.

    Hello,

    Cysts are measured in cm's; as far as I know. One measuring 3.9 is about an inch and a half. I had one on my left ovary that was about 3.3. The Dr. didn't seem too worried about it. Was told to wait and see for at least three cycles if it would dissolve on it's own.

    Had an TVUS done in about four months and it had shrunk. Only to find out that another developed on same ovary as well as one on my right. All three measure about 1.5 cm. each. So...more watching and waiting.
