Default Bleeding for almost two weeks

    Hello ladies,
First time visting and looking for help to relieve my worries (and my husbands). I had my normal period at the begining of July. My husband and I had a romantic night a week after and we have always used condoms so no more children, so I used a VCF (vaginal contracepion film) to protect us. Two days later when I was going to the beach with my daughters and friend I started to spot/bleed. That was on 7/18. Been to the doctor, been tested to see if I am pregnant, anmic (waiting for results) and today I have to go for an pelvic ultra sound. I am scared. I am still spotting, and I think I had another period started on the 20th. I have had only 1 week of bleed free. And so tired. Help on any advice would be appreciated.

It is possible that there could be some underlying condition that is causing the irregular bleeding. However, it is also possible (and very common), for women to experience normal irregular bleeding at various times in life. They can be due to stress, bad eating habits, weight or health problems, and hormone fluctuations and can come and go or linger for several months. A woman's period is not supposed to always be like clockwork. Everything effects it. So, if all your tests come back normal, it was probably just a common irregular period and nothing to worry about. At that point you may just want to work on keeping stress down and taking care of yourself both physically and mentally.
