Hello Everyone. I'm new here and I have a problem. I have a gross fishy smell that is occuring and also some nasty whitish/yellowish discharge. Is it and infection? Or maybe a yeast infection? It's also itchy and red... I'm so confused! I was never really taught about this sort of thing.

I'm not an expert, but I suggest you go to a doctor and get it checked out.

    Good luck :]

Hey sensitive soul, i too am not an expert but the fishy smell sounds like bacterial vaginosis...is the smell more potent after intercourse or after a period?

The itchiness sounds like thrush but im sure that you cant have both at the same time? It might be a bit of thrush and its caused a pH inbalance in the vagina, hence the smell.

Either way, id go get it checked out and in the meantime, wear cotton undies, bathe instead of washing with soap or at least lay off the scented soap.

    Good luck hun.
