    Default vaginal dryness

I am 22 years old, and I experience vaginal dryness. I can't understand at my age why this is happening. I haven't been sexually active for 6 years, and had no problems at that time. My finance and I are getting married and we have waited 5 years to start having sexual incourse with him. I am very worried about the pain I will experience with this dryness. I know that the use of lubricants will definately be essential, but are there other techniques I could use? I have also increased my intake of fluids over the past year 2-4 L a day, and that has made no difference. Any suggestions or does anyone else have the same problem??????

Thanks! Any help would be appreciated!!!!!

When I was in my 20s I went through the same problem. It actually caused a lot of emotional, and hormonal problems. I lost my sex drive at that time too. But I soon grew out of it. Have you thought about going to the gyn and having hormone levels checked?
