No, you're probably fine. I will get a million people telling me I'm wrong, but pre-cum contains next to no sperm. Pre-cum is a lubricant, much like what women make, and it comes from the Cowper's gland. Not his testicles, where sperm is made. Of course, sperm can live up to 7 days inside the penis so if he's came in the passed 7 days when you have sex, there WILL be sperm, just not many. Probably less than a hundred compared to the millions released during the initial ejaculation. HOWEVER, it is a pretty unreliable form of birth control- even with perfect use, it's 4% effective. And there is probably NO ONE who uses the pull-out method perfectly. The typical use failure rate is 15%-28%. So it's pretty ****** to do. Though, like I said, if used perfectly, it's just as effective as anything...except there's no one who could possibly use it perfectly, not even you guys.

But it goes without saying that if you're not trying to get pregnant, and you've already had an abortion, you need to be on some form of birth control. Don't be ******.

    Default Quite Normal...

I asked my doctor the same question and he said PRE CUM DOES CONTAIN SPERM!!! regardless of when he ejaculated last....My Fiance and I have used nothing but the pull out method expect for 3 months out of the last 4 years..i became pregant when we wrongfully assumed one of us was infertile because accidents do happen and i still never got pregnant..The "pull out method" a.k.a withdrawl...requires much on the control of the man...and is MUCH higher than 4% effective...That is not to say that there might not be something wrong...on either end...if your worried call you gyno...they can do test to determine if you are indeed infertile.

Well, I got all my information from my doctor and a pamphlet he gave me on birth control, along with the statistics. So don't shoot the messenger. And i highly doubt it's more than 4% effective. It's not a barrier method, not a hormonal... it's riding on a hope and prayer. lol

I never got pregnant by pulling out ... but I definitely didn't do it for a year.
Most doctors are in the business of selling pharmaceuticals. Some of them are working on outdated information and some of them are bad and will use scare tactics to turn a buck.
Vanegirl, you need to get yourself on some birth control ASAP. Babies should be planned. I hated birth control pills but I'm trying them again next cycle ... condoms are an easy fix, but if anybody's paid attention lately they're expensive.
Just like with the selling pills issue ... some doctors have their own agenda to push and will TELL you that abortions will hurt your fertility. Some research points in that direction, and some doesn't, so who's to know?

First i was shooting the messenger that wasn't meant as a stab at you I really just didn't think that it was accurate so I looked it up on the net and called the Telehealth Ontario(canadian medical hotline) to confirm my findings....here's what i found....quoted from Ontario public health website...

    "IF
-if the tip of the penis is dryed of lubricant(a.k.a. pre-cum)BEFORE
    penetration

-The penis is withdrawn Before ejaculation

-Ejaculation occurs out of and away from the vaginal opening.

    THEN

-withdrawl has an 80-90% effectiveness rate,or better"

But the Nurse on the phone told me that this is based on Men 21 OR OLDER!!! And is not recommended for Teens or men with problems with premature ejacution....as it requires both self control, trust, and communtication!!!

This is not saying you can't get pregnant but as with ALL methods of birth control it is not 100% nothing is except Abstinence....

Lord, I get what's going on now! I was reading that whole thing and like, "yeah, i know, that's what I said..." so I read over my post again. And sure enough, I meant to say it's only 4% INeffective! As in, has a 4% failure rate with perfect use, not 4% success rate. Lord almighty. Haha, don't worry, we're on the same page! Don't know how I missed THAT typo for like, 3 posts. lmao
