Exclamation Unusually Long & Heavy Periods

Last November, I was 23 weeks pregnant and lost my baby. Since then, I have been having unusually long and heavy periods. They last for three weeks, which is terribly inconvenient! I only have one week out of the month where I don't bleed. Makes it really difficult to get pregnant again, if you can only have sex one week out of every month! My doctor said it takes awhile for your body to get back to normal, but this has been five months now, and it doesn't seem to be letting up at all. Has anyone else had this happen or heard of it happening? Any ideas on what I can do??? My husband and I desperately want to have another baby. I'm 34, almost 35, so definitely not getting any younger.

    Thanks for your help!

I'm so sorry you're going thru all this. Maybe you should get a 2nd opinion b/c that doesn't seem normal to me. It cold be endometriosis. That's what it really sounds like to me. Plz get it checked out. Take care.
