For the past 3 months I've been itching really bad. I've tried yogurt, cranberry juice, vagisil, cotton underwear, everything and I'm scared. I do have a yellowish looking discharge that is very thick and stains (sorry if that is to explicit) I have a doctor's appt next week but that's not helping me right now what can I do. Also this may be a crazy question but is it okay for me to have sexual intercourse?

    Miserable and looking for answers.

It does sound like a yeast infection. Some times the Vagisil doesn't always work. That could be either because you need to take it longer, need to try a different brand, or you are reinfecting yourself somehow. While you are waiting for your doctors appointment, try buying some Monistat with the external vulvar cream for itching. Also, try some cold compresses like a cold washrag to help with the swelling and burning. Yeast infections are just about the only thing that has JUST itching, increase in yellow discharge, and redness for symptoms. You may have a chemical imbalance which is allowing the yeast to continue to grow to the point of infection. Your doctor should be able to help you out.

It is also a bad idea to have sex for two reasons. Yeast does not usually transfer to men, but you can keep passing it back and forth none-the-less. Also, sex will only irritate you further and possibly make your infection worse.
