I have recently under gone a pelvic Embolization. The Doc implanted 14 springs. I was wondering if anyone else has had this done, and if so did you have any problems with it? I have had alot of pain and bloating and starting last night I have begun sweating buckets. The Doctor who performed the procedure said I should have NO problems, and could return to work immediatly. YEAH RIGHT! When I called the emergancy service last night the on call Doc didnt seem to concerned! Im thinking maybe Im a little paranoid Any advice?

I have not dealt with this personally. But wanted to respond. It is possible that you are dealing with the normal process of healing, but at the same time there are a lot of problems that could have occured. In my personal experience, some times doctors don't make it a high priority to take you seriously. I have been brushed off by many doctors who seemed too busy to really stop and think about what's going on. My advice would be to follow your instinct. If your doc is not responding with concern then maybe you should talk to another doc. It never hurts to get another opinion. I do know that some times severe sweating can be a response to either an infection, an allergic reaction, or something wrong in your body. I hope that you feel better soon and that everything is ok!
Best wishes, Jessica |
