I've been struggling with finding a good birth control for years. I am on Ortho Tricyclen right now, and it has the least amount of side effects, but since I started back on it I have been bleeding every day.
I was just wondering what chronic bleeding could potentially be a indication of? I've mentioned it to a few doctors and they don't seem overly concerned, but I think there is something a bit off with bleeding every single day...it's not even like my period, it's more like a weird bloody discharge. Are there infections that present themselves in that way? It's also hard to deal with other issues because it the general indicators of BV and thrush (smell, discharge) are masked by this never ending "period". Has anyone else out there experienced anything similar? Any idea what could be wrong or what I could do to make it stop?
