I have had a brownish colored discharge and sometimes it has had a little blood in it. This has been going on for a few days. It takes weeks to get in the gyn office. What should I do?

You are probably experiencing what is called "spotting". This is when you bleed a little during times when you are either on or off your period, but it is not enough to constitute and actual period. Spotting is normal and just a sign of an irregular period (also normal). The brown color is simply older blood. Fresh blood is bright or dark red and as it ages, it turns to a brown color. I wouldnt be too concerned about that.
