Unhappy Discharge that is suppose to be common??

In Dec 2006 I had a partial hysterectomy. My uterus and bladder were prolapsed. The doc put the bladder back and took out the uterus but left the ovaries. I am not on any hormone thereapy. About a year ago I noticed this odd discharge. Thought I must have a yeast infection but didn't really know if I could get one since I had the hysterectomy. Since I am allergic to whatever is in monistat I went to the doctor. She ran tests and everythign came back fine. She told me it was normal and to drink water. Ok, I have been drinking water, more than I ever have. This discharge is still there and it is affecting my sex life. It is embarrassing. I have no symptoms except the discharge. I will not allow oral sex and I will always have to clean up afterwards. It also seems to be worse in the morning. Does anyone have any suggestions what I can do? Thanks

I've had the same symptoms for 5 months, only I haven't had a hysterectomy so I'm not sure if they could be from the same thing...makes sex difficult for me too and it's getting VERY annoying. I've tested negative for every single vaginal infection, and my doctor told me to wait up to several months to see if it goes away on its own. Yet, I'm sick of waiting to see if it goes away, since it's not.

Good luck, I hope ladies like us can find something out...I've read about other women who have to deal with this too.
