Is this normal on someones body or not?
Hi everyone,
Im very curiouse if im the only one with this issue. Ive noticed on my body especially around my vigina and my butt that I have two different colors. What i mean is that my skin is light/medium color throughout my whole body but my vagina and around the inside of my butt is really dark compared to the rest of my body. Is this normal or a lot of people are like that? I feel very insecure about this because its very noticible. Please advise.
No it's not abnormal. I am extremely fair skinned and my genital area is a significant shade darker, and pinkish of course. Everyone skin is different.
Oh, and definitely don't let porn influence your insecurities. Pornstars are abnormal. And pin-ups are excellent examples of the photo shop era.
Totally normal. I'm fair skinned and my outer labia are darker and pinkish while my inner labia are darker still, almost grayish. Just google image search for labia and you'll see the wide variety of shapes and colors!
Well some people say that you shouldn't tempt fate, and for them I can not disagree. But I never learned nothing from playing it safe; I say fate should not tempt me. I take my chances.
Maybe I could take a look and be better equipped to advise you...hahaha...just kidding.

I'm also curious about this. I'm fairly tanned not dark. But my private areas seem to be darker than the rest of my body. I too am very insecure about these areas. It's weird that you're darker in places where the sun don't shine. I'm currently using a whitening soap to see if it will make a difference.
I don't know anything about that kind of soap but definitely avoid putting anything with harsh chemicals on the sensitive skin down there. You're completely normal. Don't put your health at risk by trying to bleach the area or anything like that.Originally Posted by tae
