Default unappealling hair..down there

I heard that if you shave the hair on your va-gaga that it's actually not good for it...that the hair will not grow back the way it's supposed too, and it will become very irritable. i've been trying to do some research on this and have been coming up empty. i'm really curious to if this is actually true or not or how this could be avoided.

That is not true at all. It is no different from shaving your legs or your underarms. It is an untrue myth that the hair grows back thicker and darker when you start shaving. What happens on any area shaved is that hair actually grows in at a different angle and makes it appear to look different.

The fact of the matter is that you only have a certain amount of hair follicles. Shaving does not stimulate growth of new follicles. That is why laser hair removal is so effective, because you only have so many hair follicles and once they are destroyed, new ones do not grow back.

Shaving does not damage the hair follicles either, so there is no reason why the hair would not grow back in like normal.

The only downsides to shaving the vagina are that if you are not careful, you could nick your skin and cut yourself with the blade. You could also suffer from minor and temporary razor burn as you might on your legs (many women do not have a problem with this). You have to shave frequently, if not daily, because the stubble that starts to grow back in can become itchy. That itchyness goes away if you shave it again, or if you let it grow all the way back in.

I personally shaved down there for many years. I would let it grow back in from time to time and never had any problems. Go ahead and do it if you want to.

I tried shaving once. Only once.. I wouldn't do it again. I used a new blade and did as close as I can, and it was nice and smooth for the first day, but then it started to grow in, and it was prickly. It was a little itchy too, also when you're wearing some underwear and the little hairs stick through the weaves. I didn't really enjoy it, so I had to wait till it all grew back to normal. I want to try waxing though.

Default Hair removal

actually, my gyno told me that to prevent ingrown hairs that i was getting it was best to remove the hair. I use an electric razor like the men use in the barbor shops but its for women made by conair, or nair. it has helped a lot with perspiration, appearance, abcesses are none existent, and also it feels better down there.

I shave down there and can never seem to get it soft anymore. I can let it grow out then shave adn it will be soft for a few days but then it just seems like every time i shave its still rough and not very sexy at all. What methods does everyone use?

Default LOL

Im 16 and have been shaving ever since I got hair down there.
I absolutely hate every form of body hair.
Personally mine has never been soft since and I don't remember it ever being since I was so young.
Personally If you shave everything up to the pubic bone (or area thats exposed when your naked) Its fine but if you shave that patch you will get red bumps, it is very pain full and itchy.

I personally wax that area and shave the rest.
But I can't stand the itch when it grows back so this weekend Im getting laser hair removal hope that helps

I used to have trouble with the itch, I just had to get used to it once I did on a normal basis I had no more ingrown hair nor razor burn and unless I just really let it grow when coming back in its not really itchy then either good luck!
