shaving in shower?

I was wondering how do people typically shave their nether regions? I find that every time I do it (I use scissors actually) the hair clogs up my shower drain and it's a mess every time. Is there a better way to do it?

I like to keep it completely shaved. That way it does not clog up the shower. I normally stand in the tub or sit on the rim of the tub. My husband has even shaved me before and then I will shave him! I like being smooth!!!!
