i wouldnt feel soo embarrased girls, im a male n 'oh no a male reading our intimate threads', thing is girls have more knowledge about the same problem then guys tend to realise.

Back to you all being embarrased, considering most guys (such as myself) have exactly the same problem and alot of a more hair problem then prolly most girls as most hair genes tend to be on the male side of the family and not the females side as much, it tends just be more embarrasing for guys, although we all play the game of not caring, as do you i imagine.
Any guys here, stop me if im wrong but some guys are lucky an dont have hair on the their legs for example. Some are unlucky really unlucky, n get it coming up in all sorts of places.
And very few seek out solutions, as its mostly known to be 'unmanly of me/him' to wax his chest unless, his openly flamboynt and got a cute simle. enough bout guys though. Just wanted to point out that girls arent alone, that guys have it more locked in their genes making it harder to solve, an know im not pointing this out just to make it known that guys have more hair then girls, we win haha. No. thats stupid.
What i do, is remove hair from different areas on my body most upper atm, epliate it out, then exfoliate with very grainy cleaners that really cleans the skin etc, then lotion n if i need to moisturizer the area, if the skins very dry. wait a day or two for the redness to calm down, to regular exfoliating by loofah etc n lotion. n i have to say not only is my hair being reduced the more i do it. the better your skin feels n smells.

Wow just wanted to chime in here, was really shocked at what I was reading. My wife has a layer of fuzz on her stomach, lower back, and but that is a little dark as well as some longer hairs in between her butt checks. She shaves her pubic hair and occasionally her longer butt hairs but IT DOESN'T matter! I shave my scrotum and trim my pubic hair, although recently my chest hair has started to grow in more and I am looking at waxing it. Its all about personal preference and most of all its YOUR choice. My wife use to be very subconscious about her hair when we were dating but we DISCUSSED it and now she calls me furry butt and I call her fuzzy butt.
Hair is natural most people have it all over some more then others, but it doesn't matter. If it bothers you then wax it or shave it (waxing is by far the better choice). Almost every post I read had people ashamed of their bodies natural growth, which is sad. Being hairy, or not have perfect breast, nose, butt, feet, hands, neck, armpits, and everything else everyone is worried about is not something you can control so you should never feel embarrassed by it, ESPECIALLY if you are going to a doctor or a spa. Oh and girls you are not alone, guys worry about their bodies all the time too and are just as irrational. Penis size, muscle structure, hair lines, body hair, butt hair.

The bottom line is this, if you are not comfortable with you body and what to do something to change it like waxing or lazer treatment don't feel embarrassed, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks (I guarantee you a doctor or a professional at a spa will not judge you they make their living helping people shape their looks). In addition you shouldn't feel pressured to shave or wax if you don't want to. Isn't the whole point of dating to find someone to spend your life with? Do you REALLY want to spend your life with someone who wont love you if you have some hair in places where magazines and TV don't show it?

I'd say if its bothering you, then its most likely very much annoying you to where its uncomfortable, stressful an sometimes hurts or alot of the time (oh not to mention the whole hygeine mess of it all!).

For girls n guys that shave are probably the most annoyed as you keep putting time and effort etc into making it go away for a few days if your lucky. If i was doing that, i'd most likely would have drown myself in the toliet or something after a while. BUT doing since you were like 13? thats insane....

your direction of your skins hair grains would be mutated or something and taken over your life, not to offend any girl here as me as a guy can understand your pain of what your going through as i went through the same thing, just not all that much, all i did during my youth is trim it so its not to make the direction of the hair growth get out of whack, n most guys would do that an so we find that not pleasant, so to do what you do is 'wow'.

But at least for you, you will always look good in the end. for most/average guys we look distastful not matter what effort we put into ourselfs, i guess we just rely on alot of confidence. Im not one with much confidence, i realise its partly because of body image so im just trying to change parts of me to make me feel better, an for some girls i guess thats why you do it too.

But to do that you really need to work out whats the best solution to removing hair from your skin, as everyones skins is different. I researched all the different methods an have tried prolly about have of them (and no i didnt go to hair removal salon for laser or waxing and decided it wasnt for me) im also too embarrased, but for girls your soo damm lucky to be good looking, body image for you is all the confidence, a guy could hope for. SO for you going to get waxing or laser or whatever, is very acceptable now. And now men are starting to do it alot, not really by the average guy yet but it will soon. anyways thats my 2cents, n am i outa of here......

(I meant to add this to my previous post)
Too me my ideal body image would be to be born no hair other than my
head, be of just over average height so bout 190cms, so for later on
when i get old i will shrink down to a midget it will take longer for
it to do so before that would even happen to where im like half of 190,
    i'd pass away by then.
Thirdly instead of teeth i want suckling tentacles that suck up food n
liquids, because really teeth just give you grieth (i cant spell) in
    the end, right?
I also want a tubing thats like a tentacle again thats from my nether
region and it extends far away in a direction thats always behind me,
so i dont have to deal with any of that. Lastly a tan that never causes
cancer, n a mustache that says 'yeah i've been nude on camera, wat of
    it?'

Coz really we all just want to not worry bout our bodys an just drink
and smoke an just not care, but thats just me.

    Default RE: unwanted butt hair!

Ladies, I have to say it's a relief to find that i'm not the only person with this problem, there must be lots of us!

I used to wax my butt every couple of weeks but it would grow back the next day so i'd have to pluck - very time consuming!!

I bought an epilator and it's fantastic as it works on short hairs - i can get all the way round and doesn't hurt at all, though I was having to do this every day as it grows back so quickly!

But... then I discovered Kalo which is fantastic to stop the hair growth. It's not permanent but will slow it down so now I only have to epilate every 3-4 days if I follow the instructions, so I'd recommend it to anyone, esp if you have course hair. It's not cheap but does the job and I think the hair growth is actually slowing down after 6 months use: *Removed outbound link*

So hairy ladies, 2 things to invest in:-

    1. Plug-in epilator (not batteries as they go too slow)
    2. Kalo hair inhibitor spray

You'll be hair free in no time.

    Good luck x

    Unhappy wow!!

I am SOOO absolutely relieved because i, like everyone else on here, thought i was the only one! im 16 now and like a lot of you i have been shaving my butt for a couple years now because im scared of someone seeing hair or my boyfriend touching my butt and feeling hair! even when i shave theresz still stubble. but im sooo happy that everyone has shared their story's and tips (: here a couple of things that girls SHOULD NOT DO IF THEY NOTICED HAIR
    • absolutley DO NOT shave if you haven't yet, no matter how bad it is. it will get worse, try bleach
    • if you have shaved and you want to try a hair removal cream, do not do it for at least 2 weeks after shaving because you will chemically burn the tender shaved skin. (been there done that and it was horrible, i got red marks everywhere and had to tell my boyfriend that i tried to spray tan after shaving and that's what happened)
    • DO NOT spend a lot of money on laser if you cant do all the recommended treatments. i had to stop two treatments short and omgoshh it was gone for a while but then just started growing back again

also id like to say thank you for everyone that has posted, you see i have hair EVERYWHERE because of my very hairy father, my mom was luck and has barley none. im always envious of all my friends who don't have to worry about shaving because that is the method ive been having to do every day, i feel stuck in my own skin and its a horrible feeling. my father has Israeli in him WAY WAY back, but that's about it with the ethnic heritage, and im white so i had no idea other white girls got it too hah. but anyways even when i shave some places are smooth but most of it i can feel stubble. my dad and mom call me obsessed because ill spend about 40 minutes in the shower just trying to get everything, i shave my legs, butt, vagina(sometimes), back, stomach, in between my boobs, armpits, toes hands, and knuckles. and if its not smooth i have to shave again. im soo self conscious about it.

i do bleach and partially tweeze my lip and jaw, bleach my arms because thankgoodness i never shaved them.

I'm, definitely going to consider the kalo hair inhibiting spray after wax's because ive heard great things about it. but thanks everyone this has been an amazing help to mee
