Question Any other options?

It's so ridiculous how much hair removal can upset us ladies... i know i've been in tears over it several times
There's no shortage of smooth, sexy women to flaunt their hairlessness in our faces and i'd love to know how they keep it up

I've got to the point where i don't really know what to do, I've been shaving since i can remember (which i know is bad), mostly the results on my legs will be fine, though not lasting for more than 24 hours, occassionally the cuts, bumps, irritation and razor burn will keep me in jeans on even the hottest days. I've tried a variety of different razors/foams & gels, usually this is okay for my legs but shaving my underarms/pubic area is a no go without an unsightly, uncomfortable result.

I've tried hair removal creams a while ago, i found them messy and the results not worth the hassle. Though i've heard that recently these creams have improved drastically and i've yet to give them another go.

Waxing has been by far my favourite method, especially for the "lady garden" though i've had a real issue with regrowth. The results, though perfect, have only lasted a really short time. The first time i ever got waxed was before a weeks holiday in the sun, i took no razor with me and halfway through the week, four days since i was waxed, i had visable, stubbly legs and bikini line... nice v_v
The second, third and fourth times have seen the results lasting the same, short amount of time and for the cost of a full leg wax, and full pubic wax it's just too much to pay for such a short time. The pain and cost would be no object if the results lasted. Does the result length increase the more times you get waxed? If so how many sessions does it take before you see the much talked about 4 week smoothness?
I don't try waxing at home, i bought a pot of microwavable wax which was messy and made me feel like a complete sado-masochist. Should i give it another go?

Laser hair removal isn't really an option as a friend said she wouldn't recommend it at all, i trust her judgement
The only thing i haven't really tried is buying an epilator... what are the results like with these? And will i suffer the same regrowth discomfort as with shaving?

Any info/advice would be much appreciated

xxx

Default

Have you ever thought about an epilator?

The results last 3-4 weeks. I do it myself and Ive not touched a razor since. You soon get used to it. Plus the hair grows back thinner.
