Unhappy

I also have very bad facial hair i have tried everything from neet, nair, sally hensen, waxing, shaving, electrolysis, you name it i tried it. Nothing really seems to last very long. I am now in my 4th session of laser treatment the hair growth has decreased but i still grow a full bread...i have a few more treatments to go so i am just crossing my fingers and hoping it works for me...I will update you guys on how the treatment works.....................running into this forum for me was a great thing because there are times i feel like i am the only women with this problem,

When the Sally Hansen cream stopped being as effective I switched to a product called Magic Shave. its labeled for black men it's a beard removal and it seems to work for now. I'd eventually like to get laser done when i can afford it. Hope this helps
What is pcos? I have the same problem with the hair its seems like all the ladys in my family got big boobs and a beard. im afraid of waxing i dont want to have a bad reaction to the wax.

Waxing isn't so bad. If you have a Sally's Beauty Supply near you, you can purchase a wax warmer and wax. It's pretty easy to use but you can burn yourself if your not careful. It's cheaper to have your own then it is to go and pay someone to do it. I would rather do it myself. There is also the shaving cream for black men. It's called Magic Shaving Powder (can be found at Wal-Mat). I haven't used it on my face yet but I use it to remove hair in other areas and it works great. It doesn't burn or cause me irritation. But again I haven't used it on my face. Good luck!

Mine isn't that bad as I am light complected but I finally said the heck with all the creams and everything...Got an electric shaver and between plucking it out and cussing it out I will occassionally use the shaver...I don't have any five o'clock shadow or anything and was going to get it lazered but I chickened out...Maybe I still will but I doubt it...So I use the Braun shaver every month or so...

be careful and be sure that your hair is as dramatic as you think. because once you start messing with it it becomes coarse and dark and then there is no turning back. From one hairy girl to another don't make bad worse.
