Default RE help

I have pcos and have excessive facial hair. I started out using Nair or Sally Hansen. I thought Sally Hansen was best. Both are creams you spread on the area wait a few mins and wipe away. I'm always afraid of electrolisis because of the extensive amount of hair. When the Sally Hansen cream stopped being as effective I switched to a product called Magic Shave. its labeled for black men it's a beard removal and it seems to work for now. I'd eventually like to get laser done when i can afford it. Hope this helps

Default Hair removal

These all sound helpful, but how long does it take to grow back and does it grow back thicker or anything or about the same?

Thumbs up I use a no heat wax.

A few months ago, I found Veet Express Roll On. It's a wax.It can be tricky to use in smaller areas, like eyebrows, and a little messy, but with practice, it can be done. You roll the wax on and press one of the paper strips on the area and...let her rip! Hurt like the dickens the first few times but I practiced and got better at doing it. I've tried Neet and Nair, but they iritate my skin. I waxed above my lip about two weeks ago and still no new growth, so I have to say it's the best hair remover I've found so far.

Kindred spirits! Ive been looking for you! I also have pcos and the facial hair problem was very embarrassing for me in school. As I got older it got worse and worse. I started off trying hair removal cream, but it didnt work too well for me. I have very dark hair, and I always seemed to have a bit of a shadow, and the results didnt last very long.

For a long time I didnt know what to do, until a friend took me to her friend (a beautician) to try waxing. It works brilliantly, and lasts a lot longer than anything else. Depending on how fast your hair grows, of course. I have to get it done once a week, cos my hair seems to be stubborn, and grow fairly fast. I have good weeks and bad weeks too! Im saving for laser removal now, although it is very expensive, because even though waxing works well, you ahve to let the hair grow in between.
