Thread: Embarresing Body Hair

I understand that every girl deals with this issue. Im 13 and I just recently shaved my butt because of appearnce issues Ive dealt with for an extremly long time. I dont mean the rectom (hole) I mean the cheeks. What im afraid of is how the outcome of this whole issue will result to. What is the best way to get rid of this hair when im older. Am I the only girl that shaves my butt?

I am also starting to notice redness and bumps. Can someone please give me adive?

Yep yep yep when I was your age the EXACT same thing happened. So horrible When I was fourteen I decided to wax it and I found that helped immensely! Because I started waxing my legs when I was 10 (I was a hairy girl!) I knew how to wax properly, but if you don't ask your mum to take you to have it done proffesionally, don't be embarrased this what those people to do for a living! I'll be honest, shaving it=not a good idea. The regrowth will probably be stubbly and a bit itchy and you will get those red bumps, which is normal when shaving. Let it grow out and try and get it waxed. Good luck

Waxing is better then shaving

I'm forty and shaved for years. Within the last two years I finally was brave enough to try waxing, and it's AWESOME! All the gals in my family are hairy, and waxing has lessened the regrowth, is not as painful as I imagined, and feels great afterward. My self-confidence has really increased due to not worrying and putting so much energy into hair removal

Ahhh I have the same problem I haven't tried shaving it yet and I won't because I also have hair on my stomach and I tried it.. It is so disgusting now. It's so embarrassing, I'm so hairy I want to get that one thingy that plucks your hair, (not tweezers, I don't remember what it is called..) but my mom said I wouldn't take the pain soo.. It is really horrible! It's all over my stomach and my butt and my back! it's nasty!
