Default Waxing in Summer

I have a question for those that wax their legs. I get a Brazilian wax all year and during the winter months I also get my legs waxed to thin out the hair. I find that this helps when I start shaving again in the summer because my hair is normally very dark and the regrowth is sporadic after waxing. However by this point in the summer I am back at the point where when I shave I can still see the dark hairs underneath the skin. I know that some people wax their legs in the summer and the reason that I don't is because I can't imagine letting it grow out that long while I am wearing shorts/skirts, etc. If you wax your legs in the summer how do you deal with this?
