    Default Many hobbies.

I have many hobbies it all depends on the season.

In the late spring and summer I make cement garden stones. I have 25 to 40 different design molds. I also make one of a kind stones as well.

My biggest being a Black Panther on a log. When finished it ways about 28 lb. The most popular in my family is the Aztec Calendar which I use orange die to create the clay colour in the Aztec regions. I have fun and am looking forward to doing some more this year.

Fall: I love to go for walks more. I enjoy the colours of the trees.

Winter: I write and bake. Good things to do when its cold out.

Spring & Summer I love to garden and grow my own produce and flowers.
This year I am making my garden bigger since noticing the prices of produce increasing.

All year around Photography. This is where I love to be creative. My best work is close ups and landscapes.

Well these are my hobbies and I enjoy them all.
Learn to live and enjoy today because you never know what tomorrow will bring.

    Default Sew among other things

I sew for the grandchildren who will let me--only the 4 yo will. The others feel they have out grown grandma's stuff and as pre-teens and high school teens they much prefer "name brands". Enough said.

I still make small things and am currently working on a black & white quilt for my 17 yo grandson. His room is all grey, white black and his walls decorated with football jersey, sports awards--I guess you can see where he has his "hobbies".

I read like fiend, but don't buy magazines, except Nat. Geo I like to give to charities and good causes and NG is one of them.. I read them so fast, they hardly feel worth they money lay out for a 2 hour (at most) read. When I go to the doc's office I read his mag's. LOL I keep Amazon, Barnes and Nobles, Border's and the local used book stores too. I read and give most of them to the library, they rarely have anything new I haven't read or am interested in. I don't claim to have read all the books there, but I really like our library and of course, they have mags for reading while you are seated comfortably.

I fish on my daughter's property. I enjoy this fishing and the cooking and eating. The guys clean those. They are good for some thing. LOL

I wonder if anyone else here sews??
    Alice
