Pro or not...musicians unite!
Any other musicians on here who would like to talk shop? I'm a singer and songwriter...and I also play a couple of woodwinds. I also had piano lessons when I was a kid, but haven't played in ages.
I sing (as hobby) I am currently writing my sisters album, she is neo-soul/hip hop with a very soulful voice. I have played the violin but at this time choose not to for my own personal reasons...but I love it! I'm also going to be taking up Acoustic guitar.

I sing as well. I used to be in a band that did mostly covers and it was so fun. I'd love to join another one that does originals but I can't write worth anything, and I still have the worst stage fright in the world!

I play piano and flute. I also play organ, including the pedals, which I'm very proud of. :-)
VPM / finance major in college. Offered an opportunity to attend Juliard, did not....long story. Reasonably strong ties to the music industry. Rent a studio about three times per month with several musicians for a jam session....usually just do covers, some original stuff. Find that it's a great release for most of life's pressures and stress.
Some people knit, some people fish, me and my friends have musical fun in a studio.
Back to working on my vocals with a voice coach now in preparation for singing to my GF on the day that I ask for her hand in marriage....it's coming...deffinitely gotta fine tune the pipes to pull that off.
I play guitar and sing, for hobby primary, but I do get paid to play.
I'm a singer too and sing in a Christian contemporary/rock band.

I've played piano since I was three, but only took lessons on and off. :/ I mostly play by ear now, and write my own music. I also play guitar and some woodwinds (though not very well. haha)!
