I was introduced to golf about 2 years ago and have never looked back. I love being outdoors and enjoy the walk. However, the weather is unpredictable in UK. Mostly enjoy playing golf in Spain with guaranteed sunshine when I get the chance.

I've got a lovely set of clubs and do want to learn but lessons just haven't been in my budget. We are fortunate to have number of public courses in the area and our weather varies so much that people can sometimes slip in a day in the middle of the winter. Hope to start learning next spring.

I was in the US this spring for a few weeks. I played a few public courses which were in great condition. The sun was shining, we had a buggy and a cool box full of beer, it was fantastic. Unlike the UK where a round of golf is pretty expensive and you have to be within a dress code and NO beer! lol.
Lessons are pretty costly too, but like most things I am self-taught. Golf is still such a male dominated sport, would be great for more ladies to get involved. Have fun learning!

I worked for golf courses for 12 years. I don't get to play as much as I'd like. this time of year is wonderful to play!
