That sucks! I've dropped mine more times than I care to admit, but never in the toilet.

    yes, kinda.

search for save a wet cell phone. key things to do immediately are to remove the battery, shake off all of the water you can, use a vacuum to suck out as much water as possible, and place in a sealed bag of white rice.

we did this with my sons cell phone that was left out in the rain for days, and it worked. screen was a bit messed up, but it worked!

take the battery out! Do not use the phone or put battery back in for 3to5 days. I know thats a long time but you need to let it Completely dry out. If this doesn't work... I hope you have insurance.

I talked to the people from the cell phone company and they simply told me to put it in a sealed container filled with rice for 7 to 10 days!.. Im still waiting it out-----reallly miss my PHONE!!
Thank goodness I have a backup phone but if anyone has an iPhone you know what it would be like to go from that to a phone with no internet and NOTHING TO DO on it!!

Hopeing that my phone will work because the phone people also told me that if it doesn't then I have to pay $200 to get a replacement.

    Way to go me!!!!!! ----grrr!!
    thanks for all your suggestions!

    No panic...
(I've dropped a $500 Nokia in the toilet, turned it off, removed the battery, l let it dry, yet the camera never came back but I learnt this: Never put your phone in your jeans' back pocket). I've also dropped my Samsung touch-screen phone in a cup of cold coffee (this taught me to never carry a full cup and a cell phone in the same hand), but nothing happened to it.

I'd help you with a link, but since links are not allowed in this forum just google this: "Dropped iphone in toilet". You will find many useful results.
