water color painting?
My FAVORITE thing to do is paint..any other artists out there? Im looking for water color tips. I usually paint with oil colors or acrylics, but i have this gorgeous water color set screaming my name.
I hope to find some water color artists willing to help

I played with the set, and jeez...Im so used to a more saturated color that im almost thrown off....who knew playing with mediums would be this troubling lol

Are they light bulbs around the butterflys? I love the way you put things into pictures, ie) words too in the heart.
By the way, Bigsy is idential to your cat, we have the same cat, only Bigsy is younger perhaps, a bit smaller in the face and most of the times his eyes are dark because he can't stop playing

Have you tried mixing the media? Water color and colored pencil for example... after the water color dries, overlay it (or parts of it) with colored pencil. You can get the more saturated look that way, and you can put in additional details and texture that you couldn't achieve with just watercolor. Try it.

good idea! im going to try that tonight. this little guy was my first attempt...hes pretty cool. The two uptop are just...creations. the one wit the tree says "I carry your heart. I carry it in my heart."
