I love my little dog. She is a smooth-coated Jack Russell Terrier, almost 4yrs old and my baby. And that may sound kinda soft, but she is always happy to see me, unconditional love. On my days off, she is my hill-buddy. Walking many miles and climbing many hills. She has a wonderful character and makes me laugh with her antics. A wee diamond!

I love dogs! I had a brown lab. her name was Cheeba, she was like my sister. But than her kidneys failed and we had to carry her up to our apartment in a towel! So, we had to put her down Now, I live in an apartment and the landlord's wife doesn't like dogs. We got 2 cats instead! I used to volunteer at an animal shelter to hang w/ the doggies, but it wasn't leading me to a paying job................so I quit. I vowed thated if I got my own place, I would get a dog to run around w/

    Default dogs

i am not allowed a dog as i'm in flat, but i do have 2 noisy budgies.

my mum has an 8 year old lhasa apso called oliver, my dad has a staffordshire bull terrier called ruby.

i care for dogs so much and other animals.

i am so passionate about animals that i'm tears when i see films with the. the movie Turner and Hooch, i have seen that several times, i'm always in tears at the end. i tend not to have films were animals are ill or sick.
animal hospital got me in tears.
the incredibal journey and homeward bound are tear jerkers.
i did see a programme all about animal abuse, i turned it off after a few minutes i was in tears.

it's such a shame that there is animal cruelty going on all over the world and nobody to stop it. if i won a million pound i would give to the nspca!

I'm not a huge fan of dogs though I tolerate them in the neighbor's yard.
My favorite are cats. I had my little cat for 14 years until she succumbed to renal failure, July 4, 2007. (she was a beautiful Himalayan/Maine Coone mix)

I suppose I'm just more of a feline at heart.

Hi everyone, I love dogs too!! I have 3 Yorkies a CHinese Crested and my husband has a bassett. I love my Yorkies dearly, well, the crested too. The crested was going to be put to sleep so I adopted her. She was a mess, she had been sunburned and had scabs all over her. But she is getting a lot better now. I was never really interested in a crested until she came along but they are the most loyal and loving dog I have ever owned. And easy to take care of really, no hair.

Yorkies are like potato chips, you can't have just one!!!!

Dogs are awesome! I am so not a cat person, not that i hate them, dogs are just so much more personable.
We live on a farm and so have many dogs (plus various other animals) at present and have had many in the past. I think we have 10 right now. Most are kelpies (working dogs) but i had a beagle. The coolest dog ever. I had him put down last year as he got cancer and dog diabetes. I was distraught as i had had him since i was a kid. I am currently looking for another pup though. I cant decide wether i want another beagle or a german shorthaired pointer. They are both absolutely beautiful dogs and very loving. Sigh. I miss my dog so much. Cant wait for a new puppy.

There is actually animal cruelty going on under our noses in places that nobody seems to look nor care about... i am talking about the American Kennel Club.
*Sorry for anyone who is an honest person and is a member.
But the majority of owners in there are... well i wont express myself the way i want to here. They are cruel cruel people.
The Kennel Club only allows members who have pedigree dogs bred by other dogs in the club... anyone like a little inbreeding?? Its getting drastic.
Also when you show your dog at their official shows, the characteristics the judges look for in these dogs are ridiculous!!!!! In particular the Cavalier King Charles. Their heads are so small now as compared to ten years back that it can no longer fit their brain. They need surgery to fix the epilepsy that comes with having no room in their head. Then they BREED from these dogs!!!! Are they stupid??????? Perhaps. Or maybe just greedy and cruel.
There are many many more stories of other breeds with problems like this but it makes me so cross i will stop now. No one seems to like doing anything about it. The poor dogs.
