i think dogs are the best pets ever! i have 2 dogs i have a 8 year old golden retriever and a seven year old grey hound!

i would have more dogs if i had the room!

I was bitten by a dog when I was young
I was chased by 6 fierce dogs when I was in Lebanon, most of the dogs over there live in the wild, they are dangerous, you can consider me have a dog phobia.
I came to the state where people pet dogs, which is very difficult for me , wherever I see one , I run the other way.
Sometimes that is embarrassing when your friends or neighbors have dogs and once they encounter me, I run away.

This is exactly how i feel about dogs also. Not that i dont like them, they just scare me even if there intentions are good. It is embarassing sometimes especially when you are around people and the dog is nice and tame, i dont see it like that i still get scared.

sorry to hear that you are scared of them, my dogs are very friendly they give me a lot of pleasure and they look so cute.

I love dogs too! I have a yellow lab named Sophie, she is so sweet, she is the best dog ever she is getting old though, she's about 8 years old and she's getting gray around her face. She really scared us last month when we had to rush her to the emergency vet, they thought she had cancer but it wasn't! She's fine now, but I worry about her during the day since she's an outside dog and it's been in the 100s. She has plenty of shade and water but I still don't know how she stays cool.... she stays at my parents though, so they take good care of her! Me and my b/f have our own apartment now so we are thinking about getting a small dog, but I think we should wait til we get a house w/ a fenced in back yard b/c I really want a chocolate lab!!!

chocolate labs are lovely looking dogs, i think they are the best colour for a lab.

My dad won't get another dog.

After our last dog had to be put to sleep because of diabetes, he hasn't been the same. -shrugs-

it is really upsetting when you lose your dog! they are part of the family! i will be gutted when i lose my dogs.

I love dogs. In fact, I'm doggie sitting right now. I myself have a cat and a parrot....so I love all animals!!!

i would love a parrot but they need company all the time so i can not have one because of my work, it would'nt be fair.
