Do you have any friends that are pregnant? (You're at that age.) Something kind of fun is to learn to make a really cool baby shower gifts out of diapers, socks, bibs, etc. There is a web site that offers instructions on how to make animals out of all those things. There's giraffes, elephants, lions, etc. I bought an instruction book off of ebay once and made the giraffes. They were caused the whole babyshower to stop in time and everyone was oohing and awwing! I have been re-making them and selling them at my local craft fair and they are selling like hotcakes! I like to sit down, close the door with a glass of wine, music, etc. and make diaper animals! It's very relaxing and the end result can actually make you money. Let me know if you're wanting more info on it and I can see if I can find the seller again.

You've gotten lot's of good ideas here. You've recently moved and you don't do sports and you don't know many people. The idea to take a class is a good one, it doesn't have to be a college course, check out the community center, the free university- the local paper should list a bunch. Why not join a book group? Get into something that will allow you meet new people. Having something physically active would be good too. Why not try golf? It's a great game and while you shouldn't take your husband away from something he does with his buddies, it would give you another shared interest.

I like to make candles...its not difficult and you will have a great smelling candle in a few hours..you can also try painting. In the craft store by me they have like wood crafts like birdhouses, jewlery boxes, picture frames that are all ready to paint.

Go to your local Micheals or JoAnn Fabrics and walk the aisles to see what catches your eye. Both of these offer classes to help you learn what your interested in.

Cross-stitching is fairly easy to learn. Pick up a book with all the different stitches and just start doing it.

I know just a couple of stitches in crochet and I am, I AM, going to learn a new stitch....soon. I just have to actually do it.

I'm looking to get a digital camera this winter and play around with that to see what I can do.

I have a keyboard, but don't know a thing about music, so it's back in the box. I will learn the basics one day.

I don't work, am home all day, so many things I could do and learn, but really no motivation to do anything, so I sit at the computer.

I think joining a class of some sort, as this will help you make friends.

Also, kickboxing is really fun and will help you feel confident about yourself.

My interest at the moment is doing the Family Tree. It never ends!!!

Goodluck, hope you find something to do soon!
