depends on the garden!

Is it in full sun? If so, any solar light will do. Is it a shaded garden? If so, solars might not work as well, or as long at night, so you would need electric lights. OR if you have a lot of flat surface around your garden (pavement, deck, patio, etc) you could get the flat lights, those are pretty neat looking too.

I've got 3 or 4 small solar accent lights in my garden (probably 6inches high or so), with a larger gazing ball on a 2 foot rod that glows in the dark. It looks very nice at night with the light casting off the flowers... and because the garden is away from my deck, it attracts the moths over by the garden instead of by me at night!
