Default Pea Pod with Texas Bluebonnet?

I planted some Texas BlueBonnet flowers, around June, and I recently noticed that there were some pea pods looking things. I opened one a few days ago, and it was tough. Inside, there was a small white mini-bean, and a small green pea on the inside. Today, I opened one and it was easier to open and there was a small pea-looking like thing on the inside. I never bought any pea plants or anything, so I don't know where it came from. Anyone know what this is, or anything?

Seeds can be spread via the wind into the dirt of another plant.. Not sure what that is, but i would dry it out, put it in a plastic bag in the fridge and in May plant it in the dirt and see what grows....
