There could be any number of reasons why your sex life has not picked back up. Women are complicated to say the least. Women's hormones can be out of whack for quite some time after giving birth. That can have an effect on hormones and moods. She could also be tired and/or stressed out from having a new baby or other things in her life like work. That will kill the sex drive. Having children can some times change a woman's perspective on certain things. Meaning, she may not want to get pregnant again and is afraid of that. Or, she may be worried that having the baby changed her down there and she could be worried that you won't like it. Or, maybe she just hasn't fealt like it for other reasons.

The best thing to do is to talk to her about. Approach her gently and lovingly in a supportive way. Don't come at her saying "why aren't you giving it up?" Ask her if anything has been on her mind and that you were a little concerned because of the lack of intimacy. Be honest about how you are feeling. Try to get her to talk about it, but don't push her. Let her tell you when she is ready. Just keep the lines of communication open. That's the best way to work out any problems in your relationship.
