Default bad breath turn off

my husband has bad breath even though he brushes his teeth twice a day.
I find it disgusting. But i try to let him know that its not him thats disgusting.
when i hint to him or come right out and say it he usualy gets mad or defensive about it.
I have told him that its a turn off and that i really like to have fresh clean breath about it.
I dont think i am asking to much of him.
I also just told him that i like it when he wheres cologne too. but he doesnt where it anymore. since we got married. i miss it.
I think it would help if he made the effort like i do.
I wear perfume and clean my mouth and if i think we might get intamate i shower so then i am clean and soft.
Am out of line or is there another way of going about this so he doesnt feel hurt?

I'm sorry, I don't have advice for you but I wanted to let you know that you are not the only one that feels this way. My husband has the same problem and I don't know what it is. Nothing gets rid of it and it is gross. He gets mad when I say something but I always try to let him know in a nice way and I tell him that I would want him to do the same for me so that way I was aware of it around other people as well. I don't know why they have to get so defensive, it's not like we are being mean, we are their wives and just trying to help. Good luck.

that it how i am i always tell him that if i had bad breath let me know. I never make it sound horible at all. His breath isnt really so bad but its bad after he eats certain foods that i dont like. Like horseradish ewe. thanks for the support though.

Question is does he brush his tongue and floss his teeth? He should see his doctor because sometimes it's an intestinal problem.
