Well, again she is a little too old for me. I hope none of you take offense at this, but there is just too big of a maturity gap. In addition,my parents are around her age.So, it would make it kind of weird.

No one has the right to judge her position here as a Moderator or any other Moderator and stop her/them from being herself... Other than the people above her,or the people above them, please don't advise on how we should speak on this Forum as Moderators. As that is not the case... we are encourged to remain ourselves on this site.

It is indeed a Forum, where people can vent, we promote it, it's useful for people to get things off their chest, we also encourage and motivate them, to the next level of their lives and try to provide encouraging words as well as opinions that may help them. If anger comes out so be it, it's healthy...

There are also alot of positive threads such as Weight loss including encouragement.

I suggest you read every section of this site.

I noted you came on and posted one post, which is full of put downs of a poster / Moderator and the Forum in general.

If you don't like this Forum, no one is making you stay...

There is debating, an issue, and there is putting people down for what they believe in, I believe you crossed that line...

I personally respect your views, but you need to respect other's views as well..

    CW

Of course she has a right to speak...I never said she didn't. I simply reminded her of the role she takes on in this place...whether or not its apparent to her or not. There was never a question about her authority...simply about her implied following....which you cannot deny exists.

On another note - since when was giving your point of view in a thoughtful and constructive way a bad thing? In your reply you actually called debating and sharing your feelings "healthy." I guess it's only "unhealthy" when I do it. There isn't one put down in what I wrote. It's simply the truth. Take it at face value.

I don't come on here so I can get people to like me. I've got enough friends... I write here because I'm trying to help.

To whom much is given, much is expected.

    Just saying.

Sign me up for one of those! Especially #10. That one is a problem because it's not like you're going to change him. Who signed me up the event coordinator? -lol-

Just looking at this facet specifically. I agree with previous posters that the educational level that both parties have could play a huge role in the relationship as it defines the individuals involved.

It could mean their interests, the things they would love to discuss, the way they dress up, the places they prefer to visit alone/together, expectations for each other and the relationship, the degree of understanding for each one's short comings, etc.

Just saying it COULD BE, but not always true to all.
