Wedding Plans not going well!

This is more of a rant than a plea for advice.

I am engaged since December last year and just want to hurry up and get the wedding over with!
Every time I make plans some objection will come up and put a spanner in the works and I have to start from scratch again! If it's not the date that's a problem it's the venue or the catering or the guest list or...

I just give up!!

it'll all work out. our was a bit of a pain also. not so much with the catering, but the guest list etc. you'll get through it ok!

Awww, sounds very stressful! Work through one thing at a time...just breathe!

At this point in time - if nothing else goes wrong - the date is set for 27 feb 2010.

ive never had to plan a wedding, but as the guest of probably 15 weddings in my life I can tell you that the guests really dont care about the small details.

One of the best weddings I have ever gone to was at a campground where we ate barbeque on picnic tables, drank cheap wine, and danced the night away to a bunch of mix CDs made by the groom himself and played on his home stereo.

As long as I was having fun - there was some sort of cake - liquor - and a place to dance I was happy.

Your wedding will be perfect, don't sweat the small stuff. It really wont matter and no one will remember it anyway a year after your wedding day! Simple and joyful is all you need to have a special day!

I just wanted to get it over with... so we got married a month after deciding to. I much prefer that. My sister has been planning her wedding for 2years and last month decided she didn't want to marry him.
