    Default child porn?

I found some pictures of a little girl (probably about 10) on my husband's computer. She is not nude, but her underwear were showing, and she was in sexy poses. It was obviously meant to turn someone on.

I'm really in shock and I don't know what to do. I have no idea how to confront him about this.

We don't have children. He is 24 and we've been together for about 4 years. I've never seen anything like this from him before.

    Before panicking...ask.
This could be a relative's daughter and
the sick parents think she looks so cute.

    You remember Jon Benet...'Daddy's little
Hooker', I mean the way they tarted that
girl up it looked just like porn to me.

Default If you think it's kiddie porn, it probably is

My ex-husband was really into hard-core porn. One time, I found a photo he'd downloaded - the girl didn't look over 15.

After I found out my (now ex) husband was cheating on me, I kicked him out. Shortly thereafter, one of my neighbors told me she was "glad" he was gone. When I asked her why, she said he was taking pictures of her young daughter and friend when they were in their wet bathing suits. The girls were 11. She and her husband asked my ex to stop, and he agreed. However, they soon spied him surreptitiously taking pictures of the girls through an upstairs window (of which he had removed the screen for "better viewing") and our French doors.

After filing for divorce (without telling me first), my ex tried to play hardball and tried to get half of the community property - and half of what I owned separately. But I found some CD roms on which he'd downloaded some more hard core porn. Guess what? There were pictures of girls - and boys - completely naked, engaged in sexually explicit acts. The kids in this picture were just that - kids. I think the oldest MAY have been 12.

Needless to say, I got EVERYTHING in the divorce. Sick, twisted prick.

    Default one off? Hobby? Obsession?

Watching Porn, (not talking about the one off, I'm talking about those
who watch porn as others watch football), is always a signal that
    there's something 'wrong'.

Married men who watch porn are sending signals they are being
unfaithful. It's a coward's way to insure the wife knows that
'something' is going on without telling her.

Those who are into 'kiddie porn' are the sickest in the bunch.

I hate to keep referencing that Ramsey case, but could you imagine
someone sending your husband a photo of their daughter who won the
    pagent looking like Jon-Benet....?

I'd take another search of the computer to see if it is a one off.

    To Sorrygirl,

A woman I met at a wives support group for husbands who are PORN addicts shared some valuable information regarding the Porn her husband was downloading onto the family computer they all shared.

Initially, it began with her husband downloading the "Hard Core" Adult Porn for many years which is horrendous to begin with, then this perverted SOB became bored with this type of porn so he started downloading teenage PORN thus, this wife began finding teenage Porn on the computer they shared. THIS IS ILLEGAL and needs to be reported to the police!!!!These men are one step away from RAPING young innocent, vulnerable, impressionable children and this needs to be reported!

As a matter of fact, if you know for a fact that your husband is engaging in this activity, and you turn the other way, and cover up and "sweep this under the carpet" you are withholding information from the police and you can indeed be arrested as an accomplist.

This wife investigated, made copies and turned them into the police. They did an investigation which confirmed that her husband is indeed a child sex preditor. The police also seized his computer at work to find "child porn" on his work computer as well. He was therefore arrested!

Just think how many children's precious lives you will be saving from abuse, rape, murder if you turn your husband into the proper authorities.

JUST make absolutely sure within a reasonable doubt by doing your own investigation first (monitor all of his computer usage and the sites he visits) and make back up copies before you contact the proper authorities!

    Excellent post Gia!

Many women don't realise this. "Boys will be Boys"....
as if it is perfectly normal for a man to watch porn.
    It isn't.

One side you have the kind of sick pervert who revs
himself up for raping children by watching porn, on
the other, the guy whose cheating on his wife, and
used porn to give him the extra push and now, (snicker
snicker) leaves it around so, (snicker, snicker) old
wifey will see it, but won't know that, (snicker,
snicker) I'm out DOING ALL THESE THINGS!

Porn is a Red Flag. As soon as you see it, classify
    it.

The two women having at it, or a man and a woman...
usually hetero man ... more than one episode...
    he's being unfaithful.

Teens and kids, he's a pederest, call the police.
Your husband might be the guy who raped that little
girl (or boy) down the road.

As Gia pointed out, knowing and keeping silent
    makes you a co-conspirator.

First, since no one else mentioned this, I am very sorry that you found this and you must be in total shock and disbelief. I cannot imagine being in your shoes right now. It must be very difficult for you to think of what to do next, and to think about what will come after "next."

I suppose I would print the pics out, show them to him, and say, "What the hell is this doing on your computer?"

Copy the files you found onto a disk, hide it and don't tell him.

See what he says. You know him best and I hope you know if he's lying. Unfortunately I cannot imagine a scenario or answer he can give you that will be satisfactory.

Good luck. Please let us know how you're doing.

    Hi Kaylar,

Thanks for the acknowledgement of my post.

Since you are an attorney, I would like to ask you for your opinion.
(I'm a Research Scientist/Engineer working towards my Ph.D Thesis in the area of Pharmaceutical and Cancer Research.) I know absolutely nothing about Divorce Law/Family Law with the exception of my own divorce in court!

At my divorce hearing, the attorneys want to state on the Final Draft of the Divorce Decree: Dissolution of Marriage due to Irreconcilable Differences. I am pleading with my attorney to state Dissolution of Marriage due to husband's PORN Addiction. I will fight this until my divorce states the truth and "not sweep his addiction under the carpet." Apparently, Irreconcilable Differences are stated because after I researched this in the Law Library, the truth will breach various confidentiality Laws!

My philosophy is not to embarass my husband's PORN addiction by making it "public record" but to state the truth! I feel that if more Divorce Decrees state the truth such as PORN Addiction, then our country can obtain an actual percentage rate of Marriages ending in Divorce due to PORN addiction, that way, if there is a survey regarding this, then perhaps our President who happens to "preach Family and Moral Values" can try to Ban the PORN and make it illegal, despite the Freedom of Speech Amendment! There needs to be attorneys who are willing to "Go to Bat", "set a precedent at at their state capitol! I'm just wondering how many marriages end in divorce due to PORN addiction from a spouse?

    What is your Advice?
