omg I love the beach one! It's like something you see in Hallmark cards or in the movies, but never hear about in real life.
my husband tried to be all sweet about it but I had found the ring and ruined it. But it was at midnight between Christmas eve and day he got down on one knee in his apartment. It was so sweet and I feel bad he didn't get much of a reaction b/c I had found it earlier and I think I kind or ruined it for him. After that I made a vow to myself no snooping for Christmas gifts.
Dead animals don't equal fashion it equals cruelty

My fiance proposed to me on our road trip from Washington to Michigan when we stopped at the Grand Tetons. He wanted to pull over to see Jenny Lake and I was absolutely DISGUSTING.
I mean I hadn't showered in a day, no bra, unkempt hair, no makeup, and one very unruly cat on a leash that was insistent upon chasing all the chipmunks there.
As I'm sitting down on the bench in a huff all of a sudden I see Cody getting down on one knee in front of me and pulling a little box out of his shirt pocket.
And then he's asking me to marry him and I'm just so taken by shock that I even forget to say yes as I'm squeezing him and hugging him and letting him put the ring on my hand. It was so pretty to, a white gold band with a ruby heart in the middle and a diamond on either side.
my husband proposed 3 weeks after our first date, he drove 120 miles to my house, asked my daughter for permission to ask me..and then he proposed. I said yes, and we married a couple of months later. Will be celebrating our 4th anniversary on March 10th.
I actually proposed to my ex-fiance under a large Christmas tree in a park, in the snow, around midnight. We had been out with his friends, then on the way home I asked him to walk with me for a while as I had something to tell him. Then I noticed the tree, walked with him all he way there and asked him (he said yes right away, got emotional etc. - he had mentioned engagement before but I'd always say 'not yet' so I had to do it).
