He's not telling you the truth
My husband also said it was fantasy and nothing happened from him posting on dating services for 'discreet fun'. I later found out he'd been hiring escort and 'massage' services while away on business trips. You have to listen to your gut feelings.....they are most likely telling you what you don't want to hear.
The very first time I thought my husband was cheating was the same reason online profile, also told all kinds of b.s. stories, and now, I am crying my eyes out, cause he conffessed to having an affair with my cousin.
I don't think it is nothing, it is serious. Mine also promissed counseling and all that, but did he ever do it? No!
