I have been with my husband 9 years, im 25 years old. I just wanted to point out that there is good men in the world, and i have one of them. He may not be perfect (porn, etc) but he is faithful, brings me flowers every week and buys or makes me cards all the time. Men have there faults but so do women..Just have to pick the things that U arent willing to put up with in the beginning and make it clear, then hopefully they get it. Im not trying to be down on anyone, if I havent been in your shoes I dont understand how U feel, but I just want people to know there is faithful love out there. It's about growing together & loving yourself in the process, Hope I didnt offend anyone.

I totally agree with you! My husband isn't perfect, but he loves me just the way I am. He gets on my nerves sometimes, but I feel so lucky to have him. We've been together 16 yrs. and I love him more every single day. It's awesome to find your soul mate. I had to kiss a lot of frogs before I found my prince.![]()

My husband is amazing. Yes, we have problems and they are definitely small compared to other people. Even on the days where his dirty drawers are on the floor, wet towel on the bathroom floor, dirty dishes by the sink, he forgot to do something I've been asking about... etc... I still look at him and just know he's my person. No one makes me laugh harder, or more importantly, loves me exactly as I am and is my constant cheerleader. He always has more faith in me than I do in myself.
Judith Viorst once said... "One advantage of marriage is that, when you fall out of love with him or he falls out of love with you, it keeps you together until you fall in again."
I could say the same thing.. my Husband is awesome.. amazing.. almost perfect.. he always puts my needs first before his (and i do the same).. he helps me with the chores around the house.. cleaning, washing, cooking, ironing.... and for our dates.. once a week he takes me out to see a movie... and sometimes the eating out comes with it too heheheh..
He is simply amazing.,. i could not ask for more..![]()
My husband is my life...Without him I am a shell of a woman....He has forgotten my birthday plus an anniversary but he is my soul mate. He is every breath I take and it fills me with happiness just thinking of him. It will be 50 years ago this November that he has vowed his love to me. All these years, we both have stayed true to each other...You see, we are joined at the heart......I could go on and on about the love we share but I think everyone here knows this by now.......Without a doubt he and I would book passage on the Titanic if it was in port.....But it sails no more.....I love him more than life itself.....
My husband and I have been married 25 yrs and are celebrating it in Rarotonga in a couple of weeks. We have had our moments in the past and all I can say is you learn more and more about each other through these times. You learn to love the little annoying things they do and vise versa and if you can accept this then it makes your love stronger. I beleive you need to be best friends before lovers.
AwwwThat is so sweet. I'm glad that he's making you so happy!
Granted this thread is over two years old, but I'm a new member browsing around. I'm glad I joined because what I need is a forum with other positive women. This is a strong sign that I made the right choice by joining.
The next step is to find a relationship that can last the years...glad to see others have found it.
Well i don't have a husband, but my man and me are very happy, and he put up with 'seeing' me before getting together for 7 months, no sex no nothing, a few heated kisses at most. The first time we met i was in my jim-jams and slippers going to get milk and it was raining real hard, he gave me he's brolly and told me to get my beautiful self home before i caught a cold, luckily the next time i saw him i looked alot better lol.
My parents have been together since they were 14, they are both now 46 and are still as happy as ever.
Hopefully i will grow with my boyfriend as they have grown together
