Hi my name is Laurel and I'm a Author, I've been married 1 yr and don't plan on having any children, I'm 45 yrs old and have done my fair share of helping new Mom's back in the day with their kids, my sister's and sister in law with their bodes as well.

I was frustrated and was in need of finding a place to see if anyone else was suffering with urges and that's how I come to find this place.


It's great to meet new people and listen to what they have to say about the issues at hand. You might find me posting in the Mom's section even though I don't have kids, thinking of all the families I worked with back in the day teaching new mom's how not to get stressed out with new babies whether born into a new family or families having more than one child.

I love to write poetry, and stories, and listen to all kinds of music, especially Dan Gibson, whose albums are of nature, I'm also into bird watching etc.

You'll probably hit it off with some of the other on here that are into poetry, 1 nice girl is Tropicalgrl1. she's awesome, along with 1 of the men that are on here
