Default Hi. New and just jumped in!

Hi, I just wanted to drop a line and say hello to everyone. I posted my first question yesterday and got some really good, objective responses. They were not what I expected, but the points made were greatly appreciated.

I am the mother of three girls and a stepdaughter. The blended family has been extremely difficult and all of the girls have had a tough go at it. We are still trying to work together and love each other as a family unit.

I also work as a pediatric speech pathologist. To say I'm busy would be an understatement!!

All in all, I just wanted to join to have some people to share advice and opinions (even if they're not my own!) with and a sounding board to help with life's little annoyances. I will try to help you all as well.

Thanks!

Hello,

I didn't read your post but I will look for it. I'm a single mother of two girls feel free to check out my page. We all have issues and complications on here but as my father said...Trials and Tribulations of being a fox. I hope you will stay and share....you never know who you can help or what you can learn...or better yet what you can teach!

Default Looking for info not only for myself but for my wife also

long story short. Hopefully I'll be welcomed.

My wife and I are both middle aged (I'm 50, she's 46) who have both been married before and have children ranging from 15 - 25.

I'm really trying hard to learn as much as I can about the whole process of menopause from start to finish. This is very much a long and arduous journey for both. Many ups and down (right now mostly downs). Many issues that we are dealing with are by all appearance interrelated whether they be physical, emotional or sexual. It seems the more I read, the less I learn.

Basically I'm here looking for ways to not only convince (that's issue no. 1) that it really is time to deal with issue as it's now coming into the third year and is progressively worsening, but also to get her to understand that there are a myriad of alternatives and effective ways of dealing with all three of the aspects that are most troubling.

I doubt I'll be an aggressive poster mainly because I don't have the perspective as the women here. But I do hope I can learn and occasionally add to the conversation when I can.

Thanks,

Default sorry, thought I was creating new thread.

If possible and if willing I'd like the mods to move to appropriate forum.

Thanks again,
