am looking for support in custody battle
  Hi, My name is Lee............I am looking for support or an agency that can help me keep my rights as a mother. Does anyone know of an agency that supports women rights? I was in a custody battle for over 4 years...I was a good mother...a teacher.. I don't drink or do drugs. I went to work and kept a very nice home. Everyone who knows me can't believe a mother like me could lose custody. I am out here to say it doesn't matter what kind of mother you are.............in the eyes of hte civil court you are guilty until proven innocent......... I was with a man for 18 years but didn't marry him (i was born in the sixties, I didn't think it mattered to get married IF you LOVED one another)....but he had the money to fight, and fight he did. I finally, got tired after many years and signed an order I didn't agree with. I thought if I did this he would move on and leave me alone. No, he didn't he is still brings me to court.....I don't have any options, no money, and I have to still go to court to keep the visitation I have. |
